They’ve been doing it for 30 years. They moved the event to Red Bluff since the city required more on the liability insurance.
City Manager Brant said the liability insurance requirement came from NCCSIF based on the level of risk of the event. NCCSIF/Alliant are the ones that recommend the two million in coverage. Our airport is set up differently from other airports so our safety guidelines and liabilities will be different.

Current law limits the amount of liquor licenses per city based on their population unless there may be a public convenience or necessity. At that point the City would need to determine the license be approved with a Resolution finding that public convenience or necessity would be served by the issuance of a Liquor License to Ruth Myhre.
This would be the 10th license for beer and wine and not hard alcohol within the city limits.
Lomeli- She questioned if there would be a conflict due to the park being built across the street.

A community member asked what type of business is being operated there. Mayor Snow clarified the alcohol license request is probably for the paint and sips she will be doing.
