CONVENE OPEN SESSION
Mayor Speake called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
Palbinder Badesha, Chamber of Commerce, addressed the Council to congratulate the Council on the election. She announced her retirement and thanked Council Member Speake for his leadership as Mayor.
AGENDA ITEMS
1. 2022 General Municipal Election.
The Council unanimously agreed to adopt this Resolution.
OATH OF OFFICE FOR NEWLY ELECTED COUNCIL MEMBERS
Mary Speake administered the Oath of Office for Council Member Wes Speake.
Beth Steiner administered the Oath of Office for Council Member Jim Steiner.
Zachary Vu administered the Oath of Office for Council Member Jacque Casillas.
ELECTION OF MAYOR
Conducted by City Clerk
The Council thanked Council Member Speake for all his hard work and leadership as Mayor.
Council Member Speake thanked his wife, colleagues, and staff for all their support, and provided a brief overview of how honored he was to serve as Mayor.
The Council voted unanimously in favor of Tony Daddario as Mayor.
ELECTION OF VICE MAYOR
Conducted by Mayor
Mayor Daddario nominated Tom Richins to serve as Vice Mayor. The Council voted unanimously in favor of Tom Richins as Vice Mayor.
