The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Daddario.
CONVENE OPEN SESSION
Mayor Daddario called the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
None.
AGENDA ITEMS
1. FISCAL YEAR 2024 PROPOSED BUDGET
Julie Kennicutt, Budget Manager, and Kim Sitton, Finance Director, provided a presentation highlighting following: 2024 Budget Overview, Special Revenue Funds, Proprietary Funds, Enterprise Funds and Internal Service Funds and General Fund Expenditure Budget including Measure X and General Fund Forecast.
The Council provided comments regarding the Fiscal Year 2024 Proposed Budget.
Council Member Speake expressed his concerns and Ms. Sitton provided clarification.
2. BRANDING UPDATE
Shaughn Hull, Chief Communications Officer, and Cindy Solis, Public Information Officer, presented an update for the City branding seal and City logo.
The Council discussed the item and provided comments regarding the new City branding seal and City logo. Staff will move forward with the proposed logo and bring the seal back to Council for further discussion.
The following residents addressed the Council and expressed concerns with the new Seal and Logo: Maddy Paxton and Don Fuller.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Daddario adjourned the meeting at 4:11 p.m. The next scheduled meeting of the Council is June 7, 2023.
