Re: Letter of No Prejudice Request for LCTOP funds for the Fare Subsidy Program Project Your request for a Letter of No Prejudice (LONP) for City of Corona Fare Subsidy Program Project for $779,467 was reviewed by the Division of Local Assistance, California Department of Transportation (Department) and approved on September 12, 2023.
The City of Corona may begin work on the Fare Subsidy Program per Public Resources Code Section 75231 and the LCTOP LONP Guidelines. Once LCTOP funding becomes available, the Department may be able to provide reimbursement for eligible project expenditures.
Regardless of the timing of the LCTOP funding, The City of Corona is still required to provide LCTOP Project Activity Reports on the progress of the project.
Please note that the approval of the LONP does not guarantee the availability of future LCTOP funds, or any other State funding source. The City of Corona may proceed at its own risk, with the understanding that any reimbursement is dependent upon future availability of LCTOP funding, which is beyond the control of the Department.
