CONVENE OPEN SESSION
Mayor Richins called the meeting to order at 3:07 pm.

AGENDA ITEMS
1. 6TH STREET CORRIDOR AND DOWNTOWN PROJECTS UPDATE
Justin Tucker, Assistant City Manager, presented the item and asked the Council to provide direction and feedback on the proposed 6th Street Corridor Downtown Revitalization project. Mr. Tucker provided a presentation highlighting the following:
Downtown Revitalization Plan Update, Downtown Revitalization History, Downtown Revitalization Plan Challenges, Downtown Revitalization Plan Solutions, Downtown Revitalization Projects: Street Enhancements, Historic Civic Center Plaza, North Mall, City Park, Gateway Signage, Iconic Downtown Signs, South Mall, Sixth & Main Beautification, 6th Street Transformation, and other projects. Downtown Revitalization Plan Capital Funding and Timeline.
The following residents addressed the Council and expressed concerns with the proposed Downtown Revitalization Project: Joe Morgan and Marta Cortez The Council provided comments and had inquiries and Mr. Tucker and Jacob Ellis, City Manager, provided clarification.
The Council provided staff with direction.
ADJOURNMENT
The next scheduled meeting of the Council is March 6, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. Mayor Richins adjourned the meeting at 4:24 p.m.
