SIDE LETTER OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
CITY OF CORONA
AND
THE CORONA SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION
This Side Letter of Agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Corona (“City”) and the Corona Supervisors Association, (“Association”) (collectively “Parties”) is entered into with respect to the following:
WHEREAS, the Parties are parties to an Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with a term of November 16, 2021 – December 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Parties are in recently began negotiations for a successor MOU; and WHEREAS, although the Parties are in negotiations for a successor MOU, the City has requested that the Association agree to an immediate increase in the base salary for employees in the classifications of Deputy Chef Operator – Water, Deputy Chief Operator - Water Reclamation, Chief Water Operator, Chief Distribution Operator, and Chief Reclamation Operator; and
WHEREAS, through this Agreement, and subject to the terms below, the Association agrees to an increase in the base salary for the classifications of Deputy Chef Operator – Water, Deputy Chief Operator - Water Reclamation, Chief Water Operator, Chief Distribution Operator, and Chief Reclamation Operator; and
WHEREAS, the following sets forth the Parties’ Agreement:
1. The Parties agree that effective the first pay period after August 7, 2024, all employees in the classifications of Deputy Chef Operator – Water, and Deputy Chief Operator - Water Reclamation, shall receive an eight (8%) increase in their base salary; and
2. The Parties agree that effective the first pay period after August 7, 2024, all employees in the classifications of Chief Water Operator, Chief Distribution Operator, and Chief Reclamation Operator, shall receive a five (5.5%) increase in their base salary.
