Title Name/Topic: Historic Markers adoption on the local Historic Resources List Background
1. What is the purpose for the request i.e. what you are trying to achieve or do? Under CMC 17.63.020(Historic Markers) There was a prevision to incorporate Historic Markers, placed by resolution of the City Council. Both the Corona Historic Preservation Society (CHPS) and Corona History Association (CHA) are approved to place Historic markers under CMC 17.63.020(K) "Historic marker" Under CMC 17.63.070 provides an avenue for adopting a resolution by the City Council. Placing the properties on the Corona Register.
2. What is the scope of the work you wish to see done?
Adopt a resolution adopting all Historic Markers placed by CHPS and CHA

4. What is the desired timeline to have the issue considered by Council? Within reason
5. Is the issue urgent requiring action before the next priority setting session of Council (Spring Workshop)?
