A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORONA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE CITY OF CORONA POSITION LIBRARY AND
COMPENSATION PLAN AND REPEALING PRIOR
PLANS, INCLUDING RESOLUTION 2025-104
WHEREAS, pursuant to Corona Municipal Code (“CMC”) Sections
2.04.060(F) and 2.40.040(D), the City Manager or his designee is responsible for the preparation and submission to the City Council for its approval a Position Library and Compensation Plan covering all available positions; and WHEREAS, the Position Library and Compensation Plan constitutes a comprehensive list of authorized employment positions for the City, although it is strictly a resource document of available employment classifications, as the classifications listed therein will not necessarily be budgeted or funded in any given fiscal year; and WHEREAS, any employment position listed in the Position Library and Compensation Plan can be filled with a full-time employee, part-time employee or seasonal employee, provided the position is included in the department’s budget or is filled by a provisional employee, or with a temporary employee if there are sufficient funds available in the department’s personnel budget; and
WHEREAS, the Position Library and Compensation Plan shall also include at least the following for each position: (1) the position title; (2) an authorized compensation range;; and (3) other notes applicable to the employment position; and WHEREAS, the Position Library and Compensation Plan has been previously titled or referred to as a “position and classification listing”, a “position classification and salary listing”, a “classification library” or other similar names; and WHEREAS, on November 5, 2025, the City Council adopted the current version of the document by Resolution 2025-104; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of this Resolution will make the following revisions:
(1) Update position classifications, compensation ranges, and other relevant details as set forth in Exhibit “A”;

2 (2) Repeal Resolution No. 2025-104.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORONA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Council hereby adopts the Position Library and Compensation Plan attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 2:
The City Council hereby rescinds, repeals, vacates and sets aside in its entirety Resolution No. 2025-104, as well as previously adopted documents titled as a position and classification listing, a position classification and salary listing, a classification library or other similar names.
SECTION 3:
This Resolution shall take effect on December 27, 2025.
