RESOLUTION NO. 2026-097
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORONA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL
OF INDIVIDUAL GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR ALL
CALRECYCLE GRANTS
WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code authorizes the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) to administer various Grant Programs; and WHEREAS, in furtherance of this authority, CalRecycle is required to establish procedures governing the administration of the Grant Programs; and WHEREAS, CalRecycle grant application procedures require, among other things, an applicant’s governing body to declare by resolution certain authorizations related to the administration of CalRecycle Grants; and
WHEREAS, in furtherance of this authority, CalRecycle is required to establish procedures governing the administration of the Grant Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CORONA, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Public Works Director is authorized to submit an application to CalRecycle for all Grant Programs offered.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or their designee, are hereby authorized as Signature Authority to execute in the name of the City of Corona all grant documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, amendments, and requests for payment, necessary to secure grant funds and implement the approved grant project.
SECTION 3. These authorizations are effective for five years from the date of adoption.
