Consider for reappointment one member to serve a three-year term to expire December 31, 2026, on the Civil Service Commission.

ANALYSIS:

Commissioner Glen Crawford was appointed to the Civil Service Commission on October 6, 2023 and is seeking reappointment for a three (3) year term.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

ALTERNATIVE:

The City Council could decline to make the reappointment and direct the City Clerk to advertise for additional applicants.

CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT:

Not Applicable.

PUBLIC NOTICE:

The notice of vacancy was published in the Coronado Eagle & Journal. Notices were posted at City Hall, Coronado Community Center, Coronado Public Library, John D. Spreckels Center, on the City’s website, and in the City Manager’s Update.
