Dear Kelsea,
I am writing to officially express my interest in seeking reappointment for another three-year term on the Cultural Arts Commission. I have given it much thought and concluded that in addition to my enjoyment of volunteering with the City, I fervently wish to complete a number of projects that I’m currently working on.
Further, as with any new position of responsibility, it takes time to learn one’s way around and gain knowledge of how the City works, and how one can best fulfill its needs. An additional term would allow me to work creatively and efficiently for the best of the Commission.
Finally, the current members of the CAC are a wonderful and intelligent group to work alongside, while under the very competent leadership of Kelly Purvis. While we Commissioners are serving the City, we are also learning new skill sets and building bridges within the community.
Thank you for the opportunity of serving the City of Coronado on the Cultural Arts Commission.
