SUBJECT: Modify Scope and Increase Value
The provider is directed to make the following modifications to the subject contract:
SUMMARY: This change is an owner-initiated modification to the professional service agreement #20-PS-ES-733-007, to increase the not to exceed value of the agreement due to unanticipated challenges during construction of the Parker Pump Station Replacement project requiring additional construction management support and an extension of the construction schedule due to delays associated with the procurement of electrical components. As a result of this contract modification, the total contract amount increases from $1,294,338 to $1,944,772, and the contract end date remains at the conclusion of the Parker Pump Station Replacement project.
BACKGROUND: The professional services agreement for the Parker Pump Station Replacement project was executed on November 8, 2022. City Council authorization to approve this contract modification was received on May 7, 2024. The original not-to-exceed contract amount was $1,294,338.
