RESOLUTION NO. 2024-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORONADO, CALIFORNIA, TO INSTALL A RED NO PARKING
CURB ZONE AT 960 A AVENUE, 1051 ADELLA AVE,
1425/1435 FIRST STREET, SIXTH STREET AND E AVENUE,
SIXTH STREET AND F AVENUE, AND 1541 YNEZ PLACE
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code, Division 11, Chapter 9 authorizes local authorities to prohibit ore restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles by ordinance or resolution, and
WHEREAS, Coronado Municipal Code Section 56.30.020 states the Coronado City Council map establish, by resolution, regulations which prohibit or restrict the parking or standing of vehicles, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Coronado as follows:
1. That a red no parking zone be established at 960 A Avenue, described in more detail as follows and as will be shown in the Public Services & Engineering registry of curb markings.
11. A AVENUE
P. Beginning at the southern boundary curb cut for the driveway located at 960 A Avenue, thence north three (3) feet to the true point of beginning.
Q. Beginning at the northern curb cut for the driveway located at 960 A Avenue, thence south three (3) feet to the true point of beginning.
2. That a red no parking zone be established at 1051 Adella Avenue, described in more detail as follows and as will be shown in the Public Services & Engineering registry of curb markings.
22. ADELLA AVENUE
P. Beginning at the intersection of the prolongation of the southern curb line of an unnamed alleyway at a distance of fifteen (15) feet north to the curb face on Adella Avenue. Thence northern along said curb face to a true point of beginning; thence fifteen (15) feet along curb face.
3. That a red no parking zone be established at 1425/1435 First Street, described in more detail as follows and as will be shown in the Public Services & Engineering registry of curb markings.
1. FIRST STREET
NN. Beginning at the west curb cut for the driveway located at 1425 First Street thence west four (4) feet to the true point of beginning.
NO. Beginning at the east curb cut for the driveway located at 1435 First Street thence east four (4) feet to the true point of beginning.

4. That a red no parking zone be established at both Sixth Street and E Avenue and Sixth Street and F Avenue, described in more detail as follows and as will be shown in the Public Services & Engineering registry of curb markings.
6. SIXTH STREET
AB. Beginning at the intersection of the south curb line of Sixth Street and the centerline of E Avenue; thence east along said south curb line a distance of twenty (20) feet to the true point of beginning; thence easterly eighty (50) feet along driveway.
AC. Beginning at the intersection of the south curb line of Sixth Street and the centerline of F Avenue; thence west along said south curb line a distance of twenty- four (24) feet to the true point of beginning; thence easterly eighty (50) feet along curb face.
5. That the registry for the red no parking zone at 1541 Ynez Place be revised and shown in the Public Services & Engineering registry of curb markings as follows:
95. YNEZ PLACE
A. Beginning at the intersection of the prolongation of the east curb line of Glorietta Boulevard and the prolongation of the north curb line of Ynez Place which is the true point of beginning, thence westerly a distance of sixty three (63) feet.
