FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 PROPOSED BUDGET AND FINANCIAL PLAN PRESENTATION RECOMMENDATION:
Receive the presentation and report on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 proposed Budget and Financial Plan and provide direction as needed.
BACKGROUND:
The annual budget is the City of Coronado’s blueprint for the continued delivery of exceptional community services. City staff has assessed current conditions and provided a draft budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 for City Council consideration that provides funding for priority projects and services to enhance our community.
ANALYSIS:
Please see the FY 2024-25 Proposed Operating Budget document located online at the City website at: FY 2024-25 Proposed Operating Budget.
Physical copies of the budget are available for public inspection at the City Clerk’s Office and the Coronado Public Library.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The May 21st consideration of the Proposed FY 2024-25 Budget has no fiscal impact. Staff will receive Council direction on changes to the budget and incorporate for final presentation of the FY 2024-25 Budget to the City Council for adoption on June 4, 2024.
ALTERNATIVE:
City Council may provide policy direction or revisions to the draft budget that may be necessary for further consideration or future adoption.
