RESOLUTION NO. 2024-43
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORONADO, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING AN EXISTING
RED CURB ZONE AND DESIGNATING AN EIGHTEENFOOT (18’) WHITE CURB LOADING ZONE ADJACENT TO CHRIST CHURCH DAY SCHOOL AT 901 C AVENUE
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code, Division 11, Chapter 9 authorizes local authorities to prohibit ore restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles by ordinance or resolution, and
WHEREAS, Coronado Municipal Code Section 56.30.020 states the Coronado City Council may establish, by resolution, regulations which prohibit or restrict the parking or standing of vehicles, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Coronado as follows:
1. That an existing red no parking zone be extended from fourteen feet (14’) in length to twenty feet (20’), described in more detail as follows and as will be shown in the Public Services & Engineering registry of curb markings:

U. Beginning at the intersection of the prolongation of the south curb line of Seventh Street and the prolongation of the east curb line of C Avenue; thence southerly a distance of thirteen (13) feet to the true point of beginning; thence southerly a distance of twenty (20) feet.
2. That a white passenger loading zone be established at 901 C Avenue, described in more detail as follows and as will be shown in the Public Services & Engineering registry of curb markings:

D. Beginning at the intersection of the prolongation of the south curb line of Seventh Street and the prolongation of the east curb line of C Avenue; thence southerly a distance of thirty-three (33) feet to the true point of beginning; thence southerly a distance of eighteen (18) feet.
