RESOLUTION NO. 2024-46
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORONADO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ITS FISCAL YEAR
2024-25 PERSONNEL AUTHORIZATION AND COMPENSATION
PLAN TO INCORPORATE COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT
CHANGES
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous updating the Personnel Authorization and Compensation Plan (PACP) when approved compensation, benefit, or classification adjustments occur; and
WHEREAS, a recent salary survey demonstrated the City of Coronado Director of Police Services pay band is below San Diego area median; and
WHEREAS, to enhance competitive recruitment the pay band for the Director of Police Services will increase by seven (7) percent effective the beginning of the next pay period; and WHEREAS, a seven percent increase will bring the pay band for the Director of Police Services to $212,685 - $252,966; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the above recitations are true; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the updated pay band for the Director of Police Services is reflected in Section 2 of PACP.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Coronado, California, at a regular meeting thereof this sixteenth day of July, 2024 by the following vote to wit:
