RESOLUTION NO. 2024-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORONADO, CALIFORNIA,
DESIGNATING A BLUE CURB PARKING ZONE IN
FRONT OF THE RESIDENCE AT 800 A AVENUE
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code, Division 11, Chapter 9, Section 22511.7 authorizes local authorities to designate, by ordinance or resolution, on-street parking paces for the exclusive use of vehicles displaying a disabled parking placard or license plate, and WHEREAS, Coronado Municipal Code Section 56.30.120 states the Coronado City Council may, by resolution, designate parking spaces for the exclusive use by vehicles of the physically disabled or handicapped.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Coronado that blue curb zone be established adjacent to 800 A Avenue as follows and as will be shown in the Public Services & Engineering registry of blue curb markings:
8. Eighth Street
Beginning at the intersection of the prolongation of the south curb line of Eighth Street and the west curb line of A Avenue, thence westerly along said south curb line of Eighth Street a distance of thirty-eight (38) feet to the true point of beginning; thence westerly along said curb line a distance of twenty (20) feet.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Coronado, California, at a regular meeting thereof this seventeenth day of September, 2024 by the following vote to wit:
