Subject: Comments re: Min Money
Good afternoon Mayor and Members of the City Council,
I am unable to comment at 5 pm due to work.
In keeping with the spirit of the Senator’s generous grant Fairview Park Alliance likes Option 1.
It’s a starting point.
If the grant money frees up money to be used
for CIP projects on the 5 year Program, please
consider:
See 22‐23 Budget, page 291
# 66 CA‐ORA‐58 Fill Removal, Cap and Restore Native Habitat, # 67 Educational Hubs and signage and
# 69 Fencing, signage and trail restoration
At the very least, please direct staff to
make these projects (which have been on the 5‐year CIP
list for many years), part of the 23‐24 CIP budget for Fairview Park.
Fairview Park Alliance appreciates city officials, staff and members of commissions working with us to preserve and restore Fairview Park for everyone’s enjoyment of nature.
2 Sincerely,
Wendy Leece, President
Fairview Park Alliance
