As a long-time resident, I have been looking for meaningful ways to continue serving Costa Mesa, and this committee is a natural fit for my background and skills. As a former Chair of the Costa Mesa Planning Commission, I bring both Leadership experience and a deep understanding of Land use, Local ordinances, and regulatory frameworks. As a former elected Director of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and member of the Traffic Impact Fee Ad Hoc Committee, I have a track record of engaging complex policy iSSueS with rigor and balance. I also bring strong relationships across the City - with Council, staff, commissions, residents, and the business community. As an independent citizen at-Large, I have no affiLiation with any mobile home park, which allows me to approach every issue with objectivity while remaining fuLLy committed to finding practical, fair solutions for all parties involved. 2 As a Comn'iittee itnamben, wt'aat ideasor pcojei ave of ivterasf to VJL}? My primaryinterests are ensuring the City's ordinances and regulations governing mobile home parks are clear, fair, and effective - and that they appropriately balance the legitimate interests of park owners, residents, and Costa Mesa taxpayers. I am drawn to the committee's roLe as a forum for honest, constructive dialogue, and I intend to bring a solution-focused approach to reviewing policy matters and any proposed regulatory changes that come before the committee.
