A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE
COSTA MESA ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN

HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA , CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
W
HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa is eligible to receive Federal and/or State funding for certain transportation-related plans, through the California Department of Transportation;
W
HEREAS, a Restricted Grant Agreement is needed to be executed with the California Department of Transportation before such funds can be reimbursed through the Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant Program;
W
HEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa wishes to delegate authorization to execute these agreements and any amendments thereto;
NO
W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, authorizes the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Restricted Grant Agreement and any amendments thereto with the California Department of Transportation.
