Dear City of Cotati,
I am writing to you in support of the City of Cotati adopting an on-site consumption ordinance.
We at the Veterans Cannabis Group strive to educate and create safe environments for our Veterans to learn about and try medicinal cannabis.
Mercy Wellness has been a long time supporter of our mission to help Veterans through the medicinal use of cannabis. If approved, we can continue to work together and support our local Veterans by providing a safe and comfortable place for Veterans to get educated on different cannabis products that may help them with their service-connected disabilities like Combat Related PTSD. Mercy’s staff is very knowledgeable about the products they sell and the onsite consumption lounge will provide the much needed safe environment for Veterans to try these products, ask questions with the staff, and be around others who can assist them and guide them through their journey to find relief.
If approved by the City of Cotati, Mercy Wellness will apply for an on-site consumption lounge at 7950 Redwood Drive, Cotati CA 94931 as a part of their Microbusiness license. Mercy has pledged to work with the City and local law enforcement to establish a fully compliant facility.
Mercy Wellness is 100% committed to safety, security, and impact mitigation. They are a responsible neighbor and conduct operations quietly, discreetly and respectfully.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Aaron Augustis
