B. POLICE 2021 ANNUAL REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY
Presentation by Cotati Police Chief Michael Parish
Councilmembers comment
Council requests that Staff look into other agencies that report RIPA data directly, to understand how they do this. This may be helpful if the State DOJ delays release of RIPA data for 1 year +.

For next year's annual report, Council requests:
-After the annual review of use of force incidents, include a summary in the report describing any changes to training, tools, or procedures that resulted from the review. -With the transition to NIBRS, see if drug offenses can be further broken down into felony (drug dealing) versus misdemeanor (possession).
-Include a more complete definition of what a control hold means.

C. DISCUSSION OF POTENTIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CITY

COUNCIL APPEALS OF APPROVALS UNDER ZONING ORDINANCE
