Moe Engineering Inc. - General Engineering Services

Dear Craig:
Moe Engineering, Inc. respectfully submits this proposal for providing general engineering services to the City of Cotati. Moe Engineering proposes to provide general engineering support to the Public Works Department on an “as-needed” basis. These services have been provided by our firm to the City over the past years and the City desires to extend these services under a new agreement for this fiscal year 2022-2023. These general engineering services will be performed pursuant to a Professional Services Agreement with the City of Cotati.
We propose to provide the following services for a Not-to-Exceed amount as follows:
1. $20,000.00 - On-call General Engineering services, updating and revising the City Engineering Standards, update utility mapping, update permit processes, provide support to other City Departments and other tasks as requested by the City Engineer.
2. $32,500 - Encroachment Permit coordination/On-site staff augmentation services, which provides 2 hours per day, 2 days per week at the City of Cotati offices, billed at an Assistant Engineer rate.
3. Development Review General Engineering services, which is cost recoverable by the City (pass-through) and therefore is not included in the city budget but reimbursed by developers/applicants.
Billing is monthly, or as a specific scope of work is complete, and based on the attached Fee Schedule.
The full amount is due 30 days from the date of the invoice.

All charges and fees including subconsultant fees, cost of prints, copies, travel, telephone toll charges and other non-labor related expenses paid by this firm to others on behalf of the client shall be billed at the cost of the charge or fee plus 15% handling and accounting fee. All invoices are due within 30 days of the date of the invoice.
Annual rate escalation will be calculated at 3% on a calendar-year basis.
