On tonight’s agenda, the issue of “resolution 481” is one about which I am especially concerned. WHY, OH, WHY do we need a “bean bag gun” and an armored-car-like-vehicle? Read the Police Log in the newspaper!!! Violent crime??? None there! I’ve lived here for 12 years! We want to “assist other communities”??? Why with even more dangerous, military-ish equipment?????? This speaks of “big boys with big toys”! Well not in my community!!!! We are not at nor in a war!! THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAFE!!!
