West Sierra Ave Sewer Replacement
Dear Craig:
The West Sierra Avenue Sewer Replacement project replaces the sewer in West Sierra Avenue from Olof Street to Water Road has been designed and the project is out to bid. It is understood that City desires Brelje and Race to provide a proposal for Construction Phase Services.
The project has been broken into three parts, the Base, Additive A, and Additive B. The Base includes replacement of approximately 1,700 lineal feet of sewer main including six intermediate manholes and fifteen laterals, Additive A includes replacement of one manhole and three laterals on existing sewer mains, and Additive B includes an additional 500 feet of sewer main, two additional intermediate sewer manholes, and three laterals. It is understood the City will award the Base plus Additive A.
Brelje and Race proposes to provide all required construction phase services generally described as comprehensive construction management services including construction observation. Brelje and Race will arrange for and conduct the preconstruction conference, review the contractors proposed schedule, review and process shop drawings, respond to RFI’s, provide construction staking, prepare and process any agreed-upon change orders, prepare and submit applications for payment to the City, perform daily construction observation and prepare daily reports, participate in the final inspection with City staff and prepare record drawings and forward them together with a photo log to the City.
Enclosed is an exhibit that shows our work hour and fee estimates for the proposed services. The requested budgets for the services, total $135,000. The work hours listed for construction observation assume a construction duration of not more than 55 working days.
