Dear Autumn and Noah,
I am writing to urge you to update the 2014 Bike & Pedestrian Master Plan and synchronize it with the General Plan so that the southwest side safe bike & pedestrian network is extended to the northwest side of Cotati. As a resident of Cotati since 1996 I have seen wonderful work done for those of us who walk and cycle locally. I understand cars are the dominant form of transportation which get more attention and funds, but I want to see a continuation of support for non-automobile travel.
Please update the BPMP to include low speed routes and extend the southwest network to the northwest side of Cotati so that the General Plan is followed. I feel this action supports the health and safety of residents who walk and cycle.
