Dear Honorable Councilmembers,
I respectably ask that you support Vice Mayor Susan Harvey as our next mayor when you reorganize. Vice Mayor Harvey should have been voted in as mayor in 2022, but she graciously choose to supported Mark Landman’s request to service as mayor and stepped aside.
For the past 39 years, I have witnessed Susan Harvey’s commitment to the people of Cotati and to preserving our small-town lifestyle. Susan’s knowledge of the how government works has given Cotati a voice throughout the county. She has a calm yet forceful style that gets things done. Her years of institutional knowledge and leadership style will prove to be a positive influence for our newly elected councilmembers.
I would also give my support Ben Ford as Vice Mayor.
