Re: Council Reorganization
Dear Councilmembers:
I am writing to voice my support for appointing Vice Mayor Susan Harvey as mayor in next week’s council reorganization. With veteran councilmembers Mark Landman and John Moore leaving the council, Vice Mayor Harvey has the experience to provide steady leadership in the coming year. She has gained this experience through years of service, dedication, and hard work.
As someone who has had the experience of serving on the council with Vice Mayor Harvey, including when she was mayor, I know that the combination of her leadership skills and her knowledge of the demands of the role will be an asset to the city and the council.
Thank you for your consideration.
Regards,
Janet Orchard
