Dear Mr. Patterson:
This letter is written to ask that Cotati city council not go against standard precedents, and bypass Susan Harvey for mayor.
For starting point, Susan is very qualified to be the mayor. I’ve worked with her in the past, and she’s always been fair, she always listens, and above all, she’s very fiscally responsible something we need more of in our city today.
But beyond Susan’s capabilities is the message it sends to our Cotati citizens. It looks like we have political divide in our own little city Council. We already have political divide in our country. Let’s ask our council to do the right thing for our city and promote our vice mayor to mayor. This is the right thing to do.
