I do not support the waiving of all the fees for these events by the Cotati Chamber of Commerce. The fee is already discounted for a non-profit in Cotati at 50%. The remaining waived fee would be taken out of the City Council's donation fund. The CCC already receives $15k worth of support from the city with this "donation" account. Taking out more of this "donation" account to pay the remaining fees is unequal treatment of other entities in Cotati.
It would be unfair and unequal treatment to other non-profits for the CCC to have preferential treatment, especially financially against non-profits wanting to bring events to our city.
