NOTICE OF COMPLETION
(ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
1. The City Council of the City of Cotati has accepted the improvements at the City Council meeting of February 28, 2023, for the Wayfinding Signage – Phase 2 (Kiosks) Project. The nature of the City of Cotati’s interest, as owner, of the property is as public right-of-way.
2. The improvements were completed and deemed complete by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer on January 26, 2023.
3. The name of the original contractor for the work of improvement was Aloha Electric Sign Company for a total constructed amount of $248,322.
4. The Contractor has provided the City with a maintenance bond and guaranty in the amount of 10 percent of the construction contract amount ($24,832) for a period of one (1) year from the date of City Council acceptance of the improvements.
5. This Notice of Completion constitutes the City’s acceptance of the improvements for this project.
I am the City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City of Cotati, a Municipal Corporation. I make this verification on behalf of the City of Cotati. I have read the Notice and know its contents. I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct.
