EXHIBIT A
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
1. The applicant is granted exclusive use of La Plaza Park on Saturdays, May 20, June 17, and July 15, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. for each date for the events scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m on each date. This approval includes amplified live entertainment.
2. The applicant shall submit a deposit of $500 within 30 days of approval of the event date.
3. Applicant shall provide the City with proof of insurance for all events and vendors, as required, to the satisfaction of the City, prior to the event.
4. Applicant shall provide the City with a map of the event, no later than 7 days prior to each event date.
5. Applicant shall notify all neighboring businesses and residents of the event and street closures, no later than 14 days prior to each event date.
6. The applicant shall obtain the required permits and follow all regulations from the Sonoma County Environmental Health Department, and shall ensure each food vendor complies with Health Department requirements.
7. The applicant shall ensure that all vendors follow Cotati Municipal Code 8.20.030 (Prohibited food service ware and products), which bans the selling or serving of food ware that contains polystyrene foam or PFAS.
8. The applicant shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding trash, recycling, and composting collection and sorting.
9. The applicant shall ensure the public facilities (park, parking spaces, and streets) are cleaned completely and returned to pre-event condition within 2 hours of event end time.
10. The event shall be carried out as described in the written descriptions submitted by the applicant and in compliance with these Conditions of Approval.
11. The applicant shall contact the Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District and comply with any permit requirements of the District.
