As an applicant for a City of Cotati Park Use and Special Event permit, facilities, I hereby agree to assume all risks for loss, damage, liability, injury, cost or any expense that may arise during or be caused in any way by use or occupancy of any area or facility of the City of Cotati. I further agree that in consideration of being permitted to use said facility, I will hold the City of Cotati, its officials and employees free and harmless from any loss. liabilities, damages, and/or injuries to persons and property occurring during applicant's use or public liability insurance as stated in "Park Use and Special Event Permit Policy" with the City of Cotati named as additional insured to be submitted no later than one month prior to the rental date. I have read the rules and regulations of rental carefully and agree to them as written. I understand that applications not submitted thirty (30) days prior to event may not be able to be processed.

We are a small business makers market! We feature many local small business who make/sell everything from candles to food. We typically feature 40-50 vendors per market. The event would rung from 11-4pm.
We currently host a market the last Sunday of every month at Walnut Park in Petaluma. We have really enjoyed creating a safe space where the community comes together to support local vendors.
I would be able to provide a vendot list.map of the event about 4 weeks prior. We would love for this to be a reoccurring event and are happy to work out any details.

10 Dear Cotati City Council,
We, The Yard Markets, are requesting use of La Plaza Park to bring our events to the city of Cotati. We know we would be an essential addition to the city due to our ability to bring the community together, in a safe space to support Sonoma County's small businesses.
We are hoping to host 3 events this year at La Plaza Park, the first being April 15th. We are also hoping to reserve 5/20, and 6/17. The events will run from 11-4pm and will consist of roughly 50-60 vendors who sell everything from jewelry to sweets. We are asking for closure of La Plaza St from W Sierra Ave to W Cotati Ave. This will assist our team with vendor loading/ unloading. Our event will bring lots of traffic to existing business on Old Redwood Highway and give our Cotati family's a fun way to spend their Saturday. Due to the weather, we've had to postpone our 2/26 event at Walnut Park twice now. To play it safe, we wanted to see if it would be possible to change the first date 4/15 to July 7/15. If the date is available, I will send through an updated application and letter.
