GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
1. Goal: Ensure long-term vitality for the City.
a. Objective: Promote a balanced budget that meets the community vision for City services

c. Objective: Facilitate affordable housing, new development, and new infrastructure consistent with vision and goals of the General Plan and EIR
d. Objective: Preserve City infrastructure to meet community needs e. Objective: Actively pursue all feasible grant opportunities to implement identified projects
2. Goal: Actively work to mitigate and adapt to the impact of climate change, including wildfire preparation/adaptation, in accordance with adopted City Council policies. a. Objective: City to continue implementing the local goals in the adopted “Climate Action 2020 and Beyond” to achieve greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets for City operations and the community.
b. Objective: City to implement measures and communications to assist in the adaption of identified climate change impacts in the community.
3. Goal: Provide core services consistent with best in class community service levels. a. Objective: Ensure community safety and quality (Police, Planning, Building, Public Works and Code Enforcement)
