Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council receive and file the final report summarizing the team building meeting held on February 24, 2023.
Background
At the November 8, 2022 City Council meeting, the City Council provided verbal direction to staff to proceed with scheduling a team building meeting early in the year prior to Strategic Planning. Based on the recommendations of other City Managers in Sonoma County, staff hired Management Partners to individually interview all City Council members to develop a foundational understanding of the issues/goals and then conduct a team building exercise on February 24, 2023.
Analysis/Discussion
The final report of the team building exercise is attached.
Financial Considerations
No further expenditures are anticipated beyond the originally authorized contract amount.
Environmental Issues
This action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because it is not a project which has a potential for resulting in either a direct physical change in the environment, or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, pursuant to CEQA Guideline section 15378.
