The City Council agreed with the staff recommendations, with the following comments:
· Council would like to implement the EV charging requirements prior to the mid-cycle building code update at Tier 1 Cal Green.
· All Electric vs. Electric Ready: For remodels, would like to see electric ready required, prohibit plumbing new gas appliances, but allow existing gas appliances to remain. · Blanket exception for propane powered generators.
