Cypress Avenue Sewer Repairs

Dear Craig:
The Cypress Avenue Sewer Repairs project performs sewer repairs at various locations on the sewer in Cypress Avenue between West Sierra Avenue and approximately 150 feet south of the southerly intersection with Oretsky Way. The project has been designed and is currently out to bid. It is understood that the City desires Brelje & Race to provide a proposal for Construction Phase Services.
Brelje & Race proposes to provide all required construction phase services generally described as comprehensive construction management services including construction observation. Brelje & Race will arrange for an conduct the preconstruction conference, review the contractors proposed schedule, review and process submittals and shop drawings, respond to RFIs, prepare and process and agreedupon change orders, prepare and submit applications for payment to the City, participate in progress meetings, perform daily construction observation and prepare daily reports, perform compaction testing, participate in the final inspections with City staff and provide notice of substantial completion, and prepare record drawings and transmit them together with a photo log to the City.
We propose to perform the above work on a time-and-materials, not-to-exceed basis within a budget of $110,200. The Task, Work Hour and Cost Tabulation and a copy of our current Services Rate Schedule is enclosed. The work hours listed for construction observation assume a construction duration of not more than 30 working days.
