I am writing in support of a CEASEFIRE resolution for Palestine. I live in Sonoma County. The genocide happening in Gaza right now, and the occupation that has been occurring for the last 75 years is nothing short of deplorable. Watching children being slaughtered is all I see on my social media feeds right now, and the world is doing nothing to stop it. The US is complicit in these war crimes by sending weapons and unequivocal support to Israel. It’s a disgrace. I hope that Petaluma does the right thing by signing a CEASEFIRE resolution. CEASEFIRE now, CEASEFIRE forever, END THE OCCUPATION, HOLD ISRAEL RESPONSIBLE FOR WAR CRIMES, all the right of return to the Palestinian diaspora.
