CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
KIDS' DAY PARADE AND FESTIVAL
1. The City of Cotati shall ensure the public facilities (park, parking spaces and streets) are cleaned completely and returned to pre-event condition within 48 hours of the event.
2. The event shall be carried out as described in the written descriptions submitted by the applicant, approved by the City Council, and in compliance with these Conditions of Approval.
3. The City of Cotati is granted exclusive use of La Plaza Park, including closure of all public streets and parking spaces necessary to accommodate the parade and event, on Saturday, July 12th ', 2025 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for the event to be held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This approval includes amplified live entertainment and parade assembly at 9:00 am at the Community Center, then traveling from City Hall to La Plaza Park via E. School Street, West Sierra Avenue, Henry Street and Old Redwood Highway.
4. The City of Cotati shall arrange for trash, recycling, and compost bins and porta-potties to be delivered and collected.
5. The City of Cotati shall provide at least twenty-four volunteers who will support public safety activities. Each volunteer shall wear a reflective vest provided by the Cotati Police Department.
6. The City of Cotati shall adhere to the following approved event area and parade route:

• West Cotati Avenue from Olof/William Streets to La Plaza • La Plaza from West Sierra Avenue to West Cotati Avenue • La Plaza from West Cotati Avenue to Old Redwood Highway Parade Staging Area & Route
• East School Street
• El Rancho Drive
• West Sierra Avenue between Valparaiso Avenue and Old Redwood Highway • Henry Street
• Olof Street
• Delano Street
• Page Street
• Old Redwood Highway between Henry/Charles Streets and La Plaza East Cotati Avenue between La Plaza and Old Redwood Highway
