RE: Project Endorsement - Redwood Row
Generation Housing is proud to endorse the Redwood Row project proposed by City Ventures at the intersection of Highway 116 and Redwood Drive in Cotati. This thoughtfully designed, mixed-income development reflects the values of sustainable growth, affordability, and community connection that are central to our mission.
Redwood Row will deliver 134 for-sale townhomes, 33 optional attached ADUs, and 44 deed-restricted affordable rental units, serving very low, low, and moderate-income households. The project also includes a new public park, three new bike path connections, and over 10,000 square feet of commercial space, features that enhance walkability, support small businesses, and contribute to community well-being.
The project earned Generation Housing’s highest level of support based on our endorsement criteria, reflecting:
➢ A mix of affordability levels and housing types, including deed-restricted rentals and for-sale homes
➢ All-electric, solar-powered design with CalGreen Tier 1 standards, EV charging infrastructure, low-carbon concrete, and energy-efficient appliances ➢ Infill location within a Priority Development Area and identified Housing Element site
➢ New public park and three bike path connections, including one that supports Cotati’s Highway 116 corridor improvements
➢ Walkable access to multiple bus stops, nearby retail, a full-service grocery store, and proximity to regional job centers
