The following information is being provided based on the guidance from City Hall regarding Cheryl Nixon's celebration of life on August 2nd, 2025.
Based on City Hall's guidance we have included Chief Simmons in the supplemental information letter. We also have a non-profit organization who said they are honored and proud to help with Cheryl Nixon's celebration of life.
The Rohnert Park Rebels - Youth girls competitive softball organization has accepted to be the beneficiary for hosting and facilitating beverage sales at Cheryl's celebration. Their 501 # is 51- 0580056. Proceeds will go to support the numerous teams the Rebels field for summer and fall soft ball season.
This is very fitting, as Cheryl Nixon and her business Friar Tucks Pub were a key sponsor and supporter of the Rebel's program for over a decade. All 4 of her female grandchildren played and excelled in this program, including her youngest grandchild who is actively in season now.
Mr. Mayor and Chief Simmons thank you for your support and help in facilitating Cheryl's celebration. The Nixon family extends a heartfelt thank you to you both and your teams.
