NOTICE OF COMPLETION
(ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
1. The City Council of the City of Cotati has accepted the improvements at the City Council meeting of September 23, 2025 for the Petaluma Boulevard and Airport Boulevard Park and Ride Project. The nature of the City of Cotati’s interest is as the Local Public Agency under a Local Public Agency Agreement with Caltrans.
Caltrans is the owner of the properties under improvement.
2. The improvements were completed and deemed complete by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer on June 9, 2025. Caltrans Contract Acceptance was completed on August 6, 2025, by the Construction Engineer (Syd Valeh), Construction Manager (Jose David), and Construction Principal (Johnathan Ng).
3. The name of the original contractor for the work of improvement was Ghilotti Bros, Inc. for a total constructed amount of $2,950,310.
4. The Contractor has provided the City with a maintenance bond and guaranty in the amount of 10 percent of the construction contract amount ($295,031) for a period of one (1) year from the date of City Council acceptance of the improvements.
5. This Notice of Completion constitutes the City’s acceptance of the improvements for this project.
I am the City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City of Cotati, a Municipal Corporation. I am making this verification on behalf of the City of Cotati. I have read the Notice and know its contents. I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct.
