Subject: Streetlight Restoration Specialists - Letter of Recommendation To Whom it May Concern:
Boulder County Public Works contracted with Streetlight Restoration Specialists (Streetlight) in 2022 after they were the successful bidder of a painting project we advertised. The project involved repainting the rails of three major bridges and approximately 50 traffic signal poles and mast arms at 13 intersections in unincorporated Boulder County, Colorado.
From the beginning, Streetlight's owner, Brian Moran, was an excellent communicator and was extremely responsive to the county's requests. During the project, Brian provided frequent updates and provided daily reports. Each day, Streetlight's barricade company was efficient in closing lanes and routing traffic though the worksites, allowing Streetlight to complete scheduled work on time and without complaints from the public. Brian invited me to personally come out and inspect his work and even provided demonstrations of cutting-edge methods for surface preparations and rust removal.
Near the end of the project, the county was pleased to write Streetlight a change order for additional work that involved re-staining a favorite/signature bridge in the county, which was overdue. Streetlight did a masterful job completing the extra work and it more than satisfied me as project manager and many staff in Public Works.
As a 24+ year employee with the county, I have worked with dozens of contractors and because of the quality work Streetlight did for Boulder County, Public Works is looking for opportunities to work with them again. I give Streetlight my highest recommendation in their pursuits working with other municipalities, transportation departments, and private entities.
