Pricing is based upon the following clarifications and exclusions.
C L A R I F I C A T I O N S:
• BID ITEM 1
a. Excavate, replace, and backfill water valve per City of Cotati Standard Number 126 Type A trench detail.
b. FL x FL valve to be installed with two 8-inch by 1-foot FL x PE spools and tied into existing 8-inch ACP with two 8-inch Hymax couplers.
c. CLII AB section to be 12-inches and remaining backfill to be bedding material. d. Residual water to be dewatered into sanitary sewer system. e. New piping will be swapped and disinfected with liquid chlorine prior to installation. f. Upon installation valve to be put in service and line shall be blown off through the closest fire hydrant by City of Cotati personnel.

a. Mobilization of subcontractor to cut, remove, and dispose of section of ACP pipe. Bid item to be removed if City of Cotati will take on this scope.

• Removal or relocation of utilities to remain or in conflict with proposed improvements other than specified.
• Unforeseen/unknown conditions.
