EXHIBIT A
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
1. The applicant is granted exclusive use of La Plaza Park on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the event scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This approval includes amplified live entertainment.
2. The applicant shall submit a deposit of $250 within 30 days of approval of this event.
3. Applicant shall provide the City with proof of insurance for all events and vendors, as required, to the satisfaction of the City, prior to the event.
4. Applicant shall provide the City with a map of the event, specifically where vendors will be, no later than 7 days prior to the event.
5. Applicant shall obtain a Daily License from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). The City authorizes the sale and consumption of beer and wine only; a copy of the license, as well as evidence of responsible beverage service training, shall be provided to the City prior to the event date.
6. The applicant shall have an identified designated area for the consumption of alcoholic beverages within the park boundaries.
7. Applicant shall notify all neighboring businesses and residents of the event, no later than 14 days prior to the event.
8. The applicant shall obtain the required permits and follow all regulations from the Sonoma County Environmental Health Department and shall ensure each food vendor complies with Health Department requirements.
9. The applicant shall ensure that all vendors follow Cotati Municipal Code 8.20.030 (Prohibited food service ware and products), which bans the selling or serving of food ware that contains polystyrene foam or PFAS.
10. The applicant shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding trash, recycling, and composting collection and sorting.
11. The applicant shall ensure that no temporary structure (tents, shade awnings, or other) shall be secured to existing structures including buildings and light poles.
12. The applicant shall ensure that no stakes are used in the park to hold down tents or structures.
13. The applicant shall ensure the public facilities (park, parking spaces, and streets) are cleaned completely and returned to pre-event conditions within 2 hours of event end time.
14. The event shall be carried out as described in the written descriptions submitted by the applicant and in compliance with these Conditions of Approval.
15. The applicant shall contact the Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District and comply with any permit requirements of the District.
