NOTICE OF COMPLETION
(ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
1. The City Council of the City of Cotati has accepted the improvements at the City Council meeting of October 13, 2026 for the 2026 Street Preservation Project.
The nature of the City of Cotati’s interest, as owner, of the property is as public right-of-way.
2. The improvements were completed and deemed complete by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer on June 29, 2026, with a total project cost of $658,493.89.
3. The name of the original contractor for the work of improvement was American Asphalt Repair & Resurfacing Co, Inc for a total constructed amount of $431,433.
4. The Contractor has provided the City with a maintenance bond and guaranty in the amount of 10 percent of the construction contract amount ($43,143.00) for a period of one (1) year from the date of City Council acceptance of the improvements.
5. This Notice of Completion constitutes the City’s acceptance of the improvements for this project.
I am the City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City of Cotati, a Municipal Corporation. I make this verification on behalf of the City of Cotati. I have read the Notice and know its contents. I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct.
