RESOLUTION NO. 2022-17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CRESCENT CITY AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 BUDGET OF THE CITY OF CRESCENT CITY WHEREAS, the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021, as submitted by the City Manager, was reviewed by the City Council and a public hearing was held thereon the 21 st day of June 2021; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted said budget and has the authority to amend said budget from time to time; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Crescent City approved the Beachfront Park Master Plan on December 16, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the Beachfront Park Master Plan specifies 38 Park Features, many of which remain undeveloped; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that development of Beachfront Park is key to promoting the economic vitality of Crescent City and the region; and
WHEREAS, the City has received the 2018 Parks Bond Act Per Capita Grant in the sum of $177,952; and WHEREAS, the City has received the 2018 Parks Bond Act Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization grant in the sum of $5,000,000; and
WHEREAS, the City has no burden of financial matching for Proposition 68 grants due to it “severely disadvantaged community” status; and
WHEREAS, fulfillment of these priorities requires an amendment to the budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CRESCENT CITY AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Fiscal Year 2021-22 City of Crescent City Annual Budget is hereby amended and appropriated in the amounts identified below:

2. That these capital improvement projects will be rolled over each fiscal year until the project is complete or the grant is expired.
APPROVED and ADOPTED and made effective the same day at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Crescent City held on the 7
th day of March 2022 by the following polled vote:
