Call to order Mayor Wright called the closed session to order at 5:30 p.m.
Roll call Council Members present: Council Member Ray Altman, Council Member Kelly Schellong, Mayor Pro Tem Blake Inscore and Mayor Isaiah Wright Council Member absent: Council Member Jason Greenough
Staff present: City Manager Eric Wier and City Attorney Martha Rice

Eric Wier, Employee Associations: Clerical Employees of Crescent City, Crescent City Employees Association, Crescent City Management Employees Association, and Crescent City Police Officers Association
Prior to closed session the following announcements were made: Council Member Altman announced he would be recusing himself from discussions regarding the CMEA due to a conflict ot interest (his wite is a member of this group); Council Member Kelly Schellong announced she would be recusing herself from discussions regarding the CCEA due to a conflict of interest (her son is a member of this group).
REPORT OUT OF CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Rice reported the following action was taken on the closed session agenda:
On a motion by Council Member Schellong, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Inscore, and carried unanimously on a 4-0 polled vote with Council Member Greenough being absent, the City Council of the City of Crescent City rejected the government claim of Kellin Kumler. 1 | Page

There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor Wright adjourned the meeting at 8:50 p.m. to the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Crescent City on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Flynn Center, 981 H Street, Crescent City, CA 95531.
