INSPECTOR - EXTRA HELP
City Manager Wier stated that getting the position of Building Inspector is very difficult due to the knowledge base required for the position. Our current Building Inspector Dan Minges works well with the public and the contractors and has the experience and knowledge base for this position.

He is a retired annuitant from the County and is currently part-time. Following a years long recruitment process, the City has selected a new hire that will be working with Mr. Minges to get on the job training and mentorship as well as his building inspector certification.
