• Approve and authorize the City Manager to sign Task Order #8 with Stover Engineering for a Water Capacity Study
City Manager Wier explained the need for the water capacity analysis. Prior to providing water to the Elk Valley Rancheria's hotel project, we need to study the capacity in the Bertsch-Ocean View's water distribution system. The hotel will not be within the District, however, the City is only able to "wheel" up to 70% of the available capacity in the system. Thus a water capacity analysis needs to be completed to determine the City's ability to serve the hotel. The Elk Valley Rancheria will reimburse the City for the costs of the study.
